About Social Enterprise Masterclass

A masterclass is a deep dive webinar on a specific topic. These classes are held online using Zoom, so you can participate in the class from your computer, but still get to see and interact with other students.

About Beth Palm, MBA

Beth has dedicated her career to social enterprise, spending 18 years in the nonprofit sector - over 12 of those in social enterprise. She has been recognized as a leader in the social enterprise sector as one of the American Express 50 Under 40, and inaugural member of the REDF Accelerator. She launched the Social Enterprise Alliance - Twin Cities chapter, where she served on the Executive Committee for 4 years.

Previously, she was the Business Development Manager for a social enterprise thrift chain, writing business plans and feasibility studies for new social enterprise ideas. Beth was the Director of Operations/ General Manager with a coffee wholesale social enterprise supporting youth programs. She was also Director of Social Enterprise for a community development organization in North Minneapolis, working across four social enterprises including mattress recycling, temporary staffing, manufacturing and used office furniture resale.

Currently, Beth is developing a social enterprise incubator space to employ adults with disabilities in St. Paul, and creating tools and resources for social entrepreneurs to change the world through the blog Social Good Impact.

Beth has a Bachelor’s of Science in Business degree from the University of Minnesota – Curtis L. Carlson School of Management in Marketing and Entrepreneurship, and a Master of Business Administration from Bethel University. Read more.
